OK try this. Since 1st May 223,950,409 shares have sold on the market. There are 1,728,431,597 shares on issue. Since 1st May 13% off the company has changed hands. Any one of the trading days volume's could have matched a months trading volume at an earlier date.
Assuming then that 3% of the register changes hands each month, then a total of 10% of the company's stock has traded above normal volumes. Could this be enough for someone with a large volume of pledged shares from say Queensland, and perhaps some pledged by the mob from Ballarat as well, to actually insist on more than a few board seats?
It is cause for concern.
