IGO sp out of sync with the pon. So I guess the shorts could be arbitraging with pon?
Shorting IGO has been done heavily all the way down (to well below $3 and back up again) so are the shorters just plain dumb or are they doing something cleverer.
Disclosure fyi I sold 80% of my (very) long holding in IGO in the mid 4’s recently. Happy to get a little more for the remainder, but imho overvalued, and that is before I add the (incumbent) management discount. How much wealth will they transfer from current holders in the next aquisition?
I was once a nickel bull but then there was pig nickel etc, so I am wary of peoples confidence in battery demand, simply not sure the electric car revolution can mature on nickel chemistry for batteries. It might, it might not, or it might be part of the mix.
