The funny thing with TA is that is almost always holds true BUT, often this can only be seen with hindsight. It's also a very pertinent point to remember that very often TA leads FA.

So doing my weekly review of things I hold. What to do with SMN? Trade wise it's complicated so I'm going back to basics.

To justify the current market cap SMN needs to start producing revenues of less than $5m per year (that's a reasonable PE ratio especially given that it is a growth company looking towards recurring revenues). Is that achievable? Absolutely, and is probably at the lower end of peoples revenue expectations. To justify a MC of $200m I'd say revenues of $10m are required. Achievable? Absolutely. Timeframe is certainly not fixed but it is near term.

My conclusion: Don't sell under $2 unless circumstances change.

That's entirely my opinion and review of my own holdings. SMN doesn't owe me anything because I'm free carried so my circumstances are different to many. DYOR, MYOD
