H274y mutation for tamiflu resistance just reported in Italy - this will be an almost daily thing from here in i think.
Remember that the amt of H274y circulating will be huge compared to the amt identified/confirmed and every day it leverages up by a multiplier effect - then suddenly its everywhere- this is exactly what happened with seasonal flu - and WHO couldn't explain how that happened with there currect model of reassortment (even in countries where tamiflu was hardly in use) the only way to explain it is with recombination where the mutation hitchhikes in the genetic background.
