a nice jump up in the sp today. looks like the market likes todays news out of china.
China's flash HSBC PMI reading rose to a 14mth high of 50.9 in Dec, slightly better than expectations on a 50.8 print and vs 50.5 in Nov. It marked the 5th straight gain, and follows a raft of earlier data suggesting the economy had recovered relatively strongly over Q4. The improved conditions were mainly driven by domestic demand.
