Resmed have announced a new share repurchase program of $US20m shares (14% of common stock US). Filed an announcement with US Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday referring to a decision made by the board on 21 February. This $20m program supersedes the previous program, it has no fixed schedule or timeframe for the repurchases.
This should give Resmed shares a needed lift. Turnaround from a continued negative slide to positive territory on US market after news was out. Also, Peter Farrell exercised some of his share options adding to his stake in RMD.
