Sleep apnoea device maker ResMed's first quarter profit has dropped eight per cent despite a big increase in revenue.
Revenue rose 13 per cent to $US465.4 million ($A608.9 million) following its recent $US800 million acquisition of healthcare software company Brightree.
Resmed's $US76.1 million first quarter profit was down $US6.8 million from the same period time last year.
