really its not worth the effort to purchase less than $500 in a stock for the cost of buying and selling, but if your buying one stock 3 or 4 times ( topping up)in small parcels every few weeks to build it up thats different. your better off doing that, you dont want a portfolio with lots of small parcels under $500 worth.
