I guess I'm less concerned at the salary level, as plugged points out you need to pay to get the qualifications.

My concern is specifically the strike price on the options. Most of us have owned FAR long enough now to have seen it float up and beyond these levels on hype and hope alone, whereas it could be argued that FAR is a less risky proposition (due to the number and type of prospective opportunities) than when I first bought in years ago.

I would consider a strike price of 7c to be nominal in nature. I would like to see this more as a calculation that envisages success on one of our leases, which I am sure would be well in excess of 7c.
