If we can get it going in time to catch the huge Asian market for it, I think Australian oil&gas production and exportation (if shale proves to be commercial), has a good chance of the 'next big thing' for Australia, to fill the void as demand for the iron ore lessens. Our governments need to get behind this and hugely support it also.
