I unfortunately didnt get a chance to ask a question around MOU and BOA's.
Neil did indicate they were very close to signing another dealand should be announced ASAP.
Here are my random notes:
- General Lithium deal now unconditional
- General Lithium CEO is an industrial chemist who splits time between china and melbourne, they make extremely high quality product for pharmaceutical and lithium battery industries
Neil gave him a very good rap IMO.
- Offtake agreement to be announced soon which may bring forward mining
- Hard to produce 6% or 7% product, only Greenbushes have done it so far. PLS will be able to do also, most other companies can't.
- There will be a ramp to 4 mtpa quickly. One of the advantages to MIN deal is they have water 40k closer than what they were planning to use for getting to 4 mtpa
- DKO deal has a few synergies, some of which may allow mining to start earlier.
Ozblue and Jorpra were speaking to Neil as I left they may have further info.
