Kahuna, you made no mention of the business cycle. This has a huge impact on what the big end of town is buying and selling.
The idea is to buy cyclical stocks just before the upswing of the business cycle. In theory the big profits are to be made by buying before anyone can see the reality of the recovery.
I'm not saying I believe 100% in that theory, just indicating what might be driving the market prices.
