Likely so they can continue to accumulate on the cheap and eventually take project privateto keep supernormal profits for themselves. (the board - imo)
Gold price locally is going great.. big profits here.
Great time to buy Gold Miners who produce locally with a low ASIC and stocks have been down at the same time gold has risen $250 (since March this year).
IMO - this is the time to buy stocks (not bullion) In March i would of said buy bullion (gold). Silver is still a strong buy if you can get physical close to spot in smaller forms (1oz, 10oz)
I now hope for a dividend (over buyback), i have aligned with the boards objectives and am acquiring heads and converting options when i get spare coin (but if there are bargain silver / gold coins i still keep a look out and some cash spare!) hoping for fully franked this time round.
