resource upgrade looming

so why would you sell anyway/ resource upgrade could be by 30 % who knows.......

I was looking at VRE over the weekend.....they are a gold producer and are gearing up to produce 120 million ounces per annum...
for the december quarter they produced approx 27000 ounces at a cost of 9.5 million ...they received 9 million in revenue ....so this just shows how hard it is to make a profit.....i recall their cost per ounce to be over $600...I believe the real value is to look at the low cost producers as they will return better profit over the long haul....KAL make the comment about being a low cost producer ...if so KAL will be a good one to hold ....thats what it comes down to for me......at the moment there are alot more gold producers around ,only due to the price of gold going ballistic.....when or if gold retraces in the next 12-18 months to say back around 700 to 800 an ounce then it will put a few producers under big pressure to reduce their costs......Going back to VRE...they lost around 3 million for the quarter over and above the almost break even level.....cheers Jam
