Golden West Resources Limited (GWR:ASX) is pleased to advise that
Snowden Mining Industry Consultants have completed an updated
Interim Resource Estimate for the C4 deposit at the Wiluna West Iron
    Project.
    The Inferred Mineral Resource for C4 now stands at 28.9 M T @ 59 %
Iron. This lifts the global Inferred Mineral Resource at Wiluna West to
    124MT @ 59% Fe (Table 1)

GWR notes that this increase represents an interim upgrade of iron ore resources at the Wiluna West Iron
Ore Project only. A further anticipated upgrade of the Bowerbird South resource has been delayed due to a
large backlog of samples (8200) currently at the laboratory, with turn around times now slipping out to
approximately 12 weeks. GWR understands that this situation is common to many iron ore explorers at
present due to a large backlog of samples at most reputable assay laboratories.
GWR has recently however received a number of high grade significant intercepts from Bowerbird South
which demonstrate the significant potential of the deposit, Significant intersections from the drilling at
    Bowerbird South include (as tabulated in Table 2);
    WWRC2257 14M @ 66.7% Fe from 86m
    WWRC1279 18M @ 62.8% Fe from 25m
    WWRC2258 19M @ 64.9% Fe from 155m

GWR anticipates a further increase in resources at Bowerbird South subject to the receipt of outstanding
assay results and the incorporation of the data into the resource model.
Wiluna West is currently the second largest direct shipping ore hematite resource in the emerging Mid-West
iron ore province of Western Australia, ranking only behind the reported hematite resource at Midwest
Corporation Limited’s Weld Range iron ore project1.
