There's also a serious amount of dumping...
On the 8th of September almost 9 million was traded.
On the 10th almost 5 million.
On the 11th a little over 2 million.
On the 14th 1.5 million.
On the 16th 1.5 million.
On the 17th 2.3 million.
Today 1.8 million.
That's approximately 23 million over the last 2 weeks. With a total of 176 million shares on issue, 23 million represents 7.7% of GRY changed hands... The average volume for the 6 months prior would have been around the 700-400k mark.
Share price has gone from 0.395 to 0.450
On the 8th September at 0.395
On the 11th at 0.420
On the 14th at 0.420
On the 16th at 0.435
On the 17th at 0.455
To today at 0.450
I'm expecting another change in substantial holding ann soon.
Just to put this into perspective, GRY major shareholders own;
Newmont owns 7 million
IFC owns 10 million
Genesis Asset Managers, LLP owns 14 million
Why anyone would want to get out of GRY at this point in time is in my mind silly, but I guess where there's profit, there's profit takers...
