In light of the increasing value of Palladium and now also Platinum I wonder if anyone is aware or could calculate the value of the resource? Just looking at platinum and palladium alone, which are the two main components of the resource I did a quick calculation. Nkwe's share of the 43.7m oz resource is 32.4m oz. The UG2 has slightly more palladium than platinum but Meresnky has twice as much platinum as palladium. A quick calculation based on current prices;
Palladium value = 11.34million oz x US$1526 = US$17,304,840,000
Platinum value = 21.02 million oz x US$853 = US$17,930,060,000

So disregarding the gold, rhodium and chromium credits, and the intellectual property of the Tubatse farms the resource value is US$35,860,120,000.
