Absolute trash. The feds don't raise interest rates to cause a recession. They raise rates to moderate the rate of economic expansion and to reduce inflation. They want to create sustainable growth year in year out. Not boom bust cycles.
Oh yeah, the resource boom is still alive and kicking.
