First drilling programme completed During the quarter the Company completed its first drilling programme at Golden Virgin, the first of more than 30 gold targets so far identified at Parker Range, a project encompassing 63 tenements in the Southern Cross area. (Figure 2)
New resource estimate Golden Virgin Indicated Resource estimate increased to 60,000 tonnes at 6.1 g/t gold (cut) for 11,800 ounces, to 90m depth (previously 20,000 tonnes at 11.5 g/t gold for 7,400 ounces). The resource remains open to depth (Figure 3).
High grade mineralization intersected The resource update follows 2,957 metres of reverse circulation drilling in 36 drillholes centred on the Golden Virgin Open Pit during November and December 2003, which intersected high grade mineralization (Table 1).
GV Shoot open to depth and along strike

New Eastern Shoot discovered Drilling has outlined extensions of the known gold mineralisation (the GV Shoot) to 150 metres down plunge, open to depth. A new, adjacent gold zone has also been discovered, called the Eastern Shoot. The strike extent of mineralisation is now 90 metres and remains open.
600 metre long anomaly identified A +600 metre long RAB anomaly has been identified, extending both to the north and south of the open pit, with potential to host repetitions of the GV Shoot.
Option exercised to increase interest in Golden Virgin Following the successful drilling campaign, the Company has exercised its option to increase its interest in Golden Virgin.
New drilling to follow successful scoping study Pre-feasibility pit design and scoping study at Golden Virgin shows potential to recover a high proportion of the resource with open pit mining. New drilling to define and extend known resources will commence shortly.
Resource at Buffalo Prospect The next RC drilling target is now the Buffalo Prospect, 3 km south of Golden Virgin, where a resource of 400,000 tonnes at 2.6 g/t gold is outlined. Drilling objective is to upgrade the resource to permit mining with Golden Virgin.
Cosmo Newberry The Company has entered into an agreement to acquire 80% of tenements over historic gold workings in the Cosmo Newberry area in the North-Eastern Goldfields of WA (Figures 1 and 6).
East Pilbara Project Since the end of the quarter the Company has acquired another prospect adjacent to the old Blue Bar workings in the EastPilbara. The Company holds +2000 sq km hosting up to 70 undrilled gold targets, 15km of the Brockman Dyke kimberlite pipe, and prospective for copper, zinc, tantalum, nickel, as well as gold and diamonds.
