"Analyst Marcus Padley, of stockmarket newsletter Marcus Today, suggested investors buy Minara Resources, in the Sunday Herald Sun's share tips column on April 8.
He said: "Minara's low price/earnings ratio can only reflect concerns that the nickel price will collapse. But it won't for another year or two. Some analysts got zinc stock Zinifex wrong and they will get this wrong."
Mr Padley said yesterday that Minara still offered value as he expected a nickel price "hitting all-time highs" to be sustained.
"On that basis, there's a lot left in this (Minara)," he said. "
