New management??

I thought a couple of chairs moved on the Titanic's deck, that was all. Do you honestly think a damned thing has changed? Maybe the change of Chairman might be construed as a change, but that is not material to the 'management' of the company.

The guilty are all still there - therein lies the problem. Having great access to merchant bankers around the globe is no longer a strategic edge: running the damned thing well to get maximised results is the name of the game to -

a) protect where possible the shareholder value, which was purchased at outrageous porices with hot money
b) make it more profitable...

Last time I looked not one of the board of management have any demonstrable OPERATIONAL skills.

I've never been in and these are the simple reasons why...
