I fail to understand what the drama is about executive pay at S&G.  Compared to other ASX companies the MDs pay has been proven to be very low compared like for like.

If talking about BOD pay increase.  Shareholders voted for it!  Whatsmore it was reviewed and recommend by an independent adviser,  experienced in comparable pay for NEDs and chair relative to the workload and comparable companies.  Believe it or not a BOD and executive role is a tough ask and pay nothing get nothing.

The complaining smacks of making an argument for the sake of an argument and most likely most of those commenting on the pay scales have no idea about the performance pay scheme already in play for KMP including the claw back arrangements about to be put in place (if not already done so).

For example Mr Grech's REM decreased FY16.  If dispute that take a look at any company you like on ASX300 and compere REM - and just to be certain comparing apples with apples ensure you check a company with a poor performing SP.
