As long as the KPI of a success journalist is set to be the number of views, AFR will not care about getting the most knowledgeable and responsible journalists, instead they will rather have journalists who is good at dancing in the grey areas to generating as much clicks as possible

I think certain medias nowadays are often just tool used to manipulate public sentiment on something or someone. Most audience only have patience to read headlines.
