1st he draws our attention to the carbon tax,then tries to minimise it effect.
Then he talks about the "massive net environmental advantage" of the Intec process.
Never did he mention market pricing or give us some "rough" figures to chew on.
We will try to do this job for him.

Thanks for your concern.
We will look at the economic value of the 1 million litre SPL plant to both GBG & Intec , then we will discuss the environmental factor.
The market will price the plant as follows:
(A) OUTLAY.
1.CAPEX ( around $2m )
The usual expected payback is 4 years (i.e. $500k/year)
2.OPEX ( around $500k/year )
3.Risk adjusted discount of about 10% for any operational hiccups.
(B) GAIN.
1.Landfill levy of around $750K.
2.Metal value of around $250k.
3.Regenerated HCL of around $100k.
You see,there is no great economic benefit,either to GBG or Intec.
The real benefit will come if we scale the plant up to 3 million litres + (we might even earn a couple of million $$/year)
The wild card is the environmental benefit & whether EPA is willing to subsidise the project ( this is why we are drumming up the environment so loudly,but in the end it translates into $$ )
We don't realy mind starting at breakeven,at least it will prove the technology & will give the management much needed work to prove our worth after too many disappointing efforts (which were comletely out of our control,I must add )
