Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in Norwest Energy.

Regarding our current position, we are in the final stages of evaluating the results on Arrowsmith 2 and will soon be in a position to provide an update to the market.

As stated at the AGM presentation, our priority is to deliver on our stated strategy:

• Maintain focus on Arrowsmith Field Development
• Progress other early stage exploration projects along value creation pathway
• Assess further opportunities to add value to project portfolio
• Continue evaluation of Arrowsmith to consolidate dataset and build Perth Basin knowledge to establish commerciality

We are also actively seeking partners for funding of key projects.

Separately, if a takeover proposal were put to Norwest, the company’s Board would act in accordance with the regulatory requirements and consider whether it is in the best interests for shareholders. I do not want to be drawn on whether Norwest may or may not be a takeover or merger target, other than to say that, as with any company, there is always potential for a proposal to be received.
