Are you really doing a public service ??? Can anyone form victrak explain this absurdity ??? $44000 to install 100 meter of cable and $34000 per year to monitor it ? Really ???

VicTrack provides telecommunications services and solutions first and foremost to support Victoria’s public transport sector and secondly, to support other government activities by operating commercially.
VicTrack was approached by MTM to provide a connection to a proposed Wi-Fi service to be made available to Flinders Street Station users.
VicTrack provided a fair and reasonable quote to MTM that reflects the considerable work involved to build and maintain the service.
MTM is free to seek a proposal from alternative Telco. carriers to provide the service.
