    Ducktail's post below.....

    "fellow posters.
for such a supreme athlete, did it not surprise us to see BC projectile vomiting at the 5 minute mark of the first quarter over the boundry line, of the dockers eagles match in 2005. His powers of recovery were incredible. In the later rounds of that season the eagles came from 30 to 40 plus points behind on a number of occasions ie. Geelong. When all players were dead on their feet, who was running around full of energy? BC. He then goes on to win the brownlow medal and the eagles win the premiership by merely 1 point! good on ya eagles you got your grandfinal, but it will be remembered as the biggest CLAYTONS CUP in the history of the AFL, and CLAYTONS BROWNLOW. This guy obviously has a very good masking agent to get through the drug tests.

    congratulations eagles on your premiership."

NO! Thankyou Ducktails for being a speculative sore loser!!!

Even early in the game its not uncommon for athletes to vomit on the field and it can be a varied number of reasons other then drugs in the system. Eating the wrong food before strenuous exercise for one example will prompt the body to expel something in knows it needs to get rid of real quick in the event of hard demand. Same thing has happened to me in the past and reinvigorates the system because your stomach is light and your system now can direct its energy to other areas.

Ben Cousins was always a very fit gutsy never say die player. He was always capable to run out a game even before he played AFL. I've noticed you conveniently left out his legend return in Perth against Sydney with 38 possessions. Or are you seriously saying he was drugged up then as well?

Ben Cousin's won in 1996 the rising AFL star award. He obviously had the goods to eventually win the Brownlow. If you believe the guy was on performance enhancing drugs at what point did he go from "ordinary" to "super human" if thats the case. Well there is no point in time because he was always capable of running out a game. Oh and you need to get your facts right chum. West Coast didn't go onto winning the premiership in 2005 it was 2006!!

"When all players were dead on their feet, who was running around full of energy? BC."

Thats inaccurate as well. Athletes with heart will run and run even though their bodies are screaming to stop. How many times have we seen Ben keeled over at the end of a game trying to get some oxygen into his system?

"good on ya eagles you got your grandfinal, but it will be remembered as the biggest CLAYTONS CUP in the history of the AFL"

No it won't! Eagles won fair and square. If Ben won it for them on drugs why didn't he win the Norm Smith Medal??

The bottom line here is there is no proof Ben used performance enhancing drugs to better his performance but rather was a social drug user. In fact it could be argued Ben may have even been more dominate on the field if he cleaned up his off field antics with late nights and not to mention what drugs do to your health with long term use. The facts speak for themselves that he was always a classy player who did the training to be able to run all day. Its a shame that other areas in his life have destroyed that.

You have no proof of any of that Ducktails. All you have done is speculate and miss out vital facts that prove your "theory" is inconsistent and illogical.
