...river frontage is ideal...up the river a bit with brackish waters preferably to discourage sharks and crocs whilst still being able to support your carp or eel population...within a short distance from a sealed road for your roadkill...and no more than a brisk half-day hike from a tip for one's building materials, bric-a-brac and objets d'art etc......and most importantly with reasonable tides to flush out the floaters twice a day...
