After much deliberation over the last few days, I agree with you that in the near future the assets of the SC54A shallows need to be monetised in some way to provide greater financial stability and means.

Would much prefer to see a jackup with test pkg and a small FPSO engaged to this end rather than the sale of the asset.
The asset is good, and I fear that the outcome at Tindalo would tarnish the true worth of the block if sold off before success can be shown there.

However, until they can get a definitive answer on what went wrong at Tindalo, they no doubt see no risk at all in it's sale compared to working the asset.
