Rio up. IO up. Ozzie Dollar Up. Gld up. Not much else was up. Tuesday Morning Joe. 10 November, 2015.

    Major Indices, Europe and America

Germany -1.57%, UK -0.92%, France -1.46%, Italy -1.88%. Mixed results.

    DJ -1%. SP500 -0.98%. Nasdaq -1.01%. New York Composite -0.93%, Russell2000 -1.28%.

The NYSE NH/NL fell to 27.3%. This low % was due to a fall in New Highs rather than an increase in New Lows. New Lows remain, however, at an uncomfortably high level, 80 New Lows recorded.

Here’s a regular candle stick chart for the SP500:

    SP500 was down heavily -0.98%.

DPO has broken below its uptrend line and below its 20-Day MA. It is still in bullish territory above zero, but looking shaky. All other indicators have turned down.

Accumulation/Distribution remains strong. That suggests that any pull-back is likely to be bought.

That's now the fourth day down in a row. The Index is at a set of supports (20-Day MA, 200-Day MA, and just a touch below horizontal support). There was some evidence of late intra-day buying today. So it's possible we'll some some stabilisation or a bounce here. I wouldn't bet on this, if it happens, being more than a tea-break.

    US$ and Commodities:

UUP (US$) down -0.19%. That provided a reprieve for Gold, up +0.29. Everything else went down. DBC -0.87%. Base Metals -1.14%. Energy -0.52%. Precious Metals -0.03%.

Iron Ore was up +0.6%. Iron Ore remains well below the 50 level at 47.7.

    Oz Stocks in New York.

Except for Rio, all the Oz stocks were down. It looks like Rio got a bit of a boost from the rise in the Iron Ore price. The ozzie Dollar rose a little as a result of the fall in the greenback. Otherwise - everything else looks dire.
