There is a lot of noise being heard at ground level about the restructuring of engineering on a national level. And even though I don't agree with displacement, the centralising of maintenance makes a lot of sense from a cost base.
One thing I don't agree with is this total deregulation of our aviation industry as all it has ever done is tempted airlines into a race to the bottom .. We need a tad of regulation set in my books so that both airlines can actually make a quid.. Neither airline in this country can make money selling 59 dollar fares to the gold coast and the like just to maintain a load factor.
