I have a short memory?
Just for the record! I had Iluka shares at an average of around $3.30 which I purchased back in March 2009. I sold them for around $7.70 in around November 2010. I held on when it went sub $3.00 not feeling too good at the time but could not believe the value back then. Mining Area C I valued at the time at approx $1 billion and their market cap was under $1.2 billion.
I'm a value investor. I'll never get the top but I can tell you that I buy value and extract that value anywhere from 6 months to 3 years. You can see that I missed out on a lot more profit but I still made around half as much on other stocks during the period after when others were losing and lost their shirts.
Long time shareholders only suffered for 18 months. Shareholders have had it real good for more than a year now. I'm not suggesting that it is going to change in the long term.
I follow Iluka very closely and tell it how it is. Not quite sure why you are so defensive.
Look through the ILU posts as far back as 2009 and you will see that I am not one to get in and out!
