You are "new" to AMX and "new" to the market, me thinks.... My "toe" as you so put it, was "stuck" in the Golden Waters, back in the old OXR and KCN days....hehehehe -- Goldies around 2001/02....30c AMX to $3.00+ and all sold above $3.00, clearly I have said that ...2009 was my first AMX buy.... PRU was in 2004 and Yes! - I know them all, especially in West Africa.

Recently, My portfolio has been BELTED, as has any other GOLD Stock holders portfolio... Peaks to 12 month lows, but I actively and Pro-actively trade the stocks in order to accumulate stock at such low levels...IF I am wrong - So be it..... The Stock Market is Risk based, mate = Take the Risk, make the Loss / Gain.
NEVER, Never ever forget that Research and unemotional analysis (TA) IS the key to gaining that edge on your competition...OTHER TRADERS! -- This is NOT a "happy chappy" Community = I want YOUR SHARES "on the cheap" Mate...Seriously!
