asf - IMO , this isn't a selloff.
Has there been a change in substantial holding since sp dropped from $3 ? No.
Is there likely to be one ? no
Why? - I'd wager that around 80%+ of todays trades are from the same entity , buying and selling parcels back and forth to themselves to create the "illusion" of a sell off.
The holding co's, that are acting for a suitor(s) , are trying desperately to accumulate as many shares as possible. This rate of manipulation has increased since the announcement of a data room for due diligence work. They know that time is running out before the bidding begins , and the manipulation is becoming for noticable.
There is a good reason why some of the best minds in the world are working in the financial industry , constantly figuring out the best algorithims for market manipulation.
Just think how much a suitor is saving ,buying say 10 to 20 million shares at between .80c and 1.20 , instead of having to buy those shares in the future for say $3 each or more ??
Now think , they've been doing this since the $3 mark.
HOw many shares you reckon they've acquired hidden behind all those nominee holdings ? 10, 20 , 50 million ?
Totally possible and most likely probable....
