So for the fun of it if we assume that of the total 84,542 troops on deployment only 25,000 require Travelan each year that is $90 x 12 months x 25,000 which on my calculator is $27,000,000. Assuming a 30% discount on retail price for bulk order then the number could be $18,900,000.
Given though that this is a military order I recall from years ago that at least the Australian military had specifications which needed to be achieved with regards to containers that were used to supply product that exceeded normal civilian standards.
It is entirely possible that Travelan might be priced to the US Military for more than normal retail due to the nature of how it is required to be packaged so as to meet Department of Defence requirements.
Who knows properly negotiated it might be $40 a packet or $120 per month, $1,440 per annum x 25,000 which would jump the numbers up to $36,000,000 per annum.
The numbers are impressive even if it is only 10,000 troops who need Travelan.
