...Meanwhile, Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources has launched an aerial survey of its Norseman gold project in the southern goldfields.
The company, which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in April 2005, says the survey will attempt to identify previously unknown gold deposits.
Airborne electromagnetic technology is normally used to explore for base metals such as lead, copper and nickel, but the company will use it to identify the sulphide elements associated with gold mineralisation.
It says airborne survey will reduce the amount of drilling required to explore its tenements.
The survey should be completed before the end of the month, with results available in February
