I was overseas and focused on leisure travel so did not vote, but interesting how almost 20.5 per cent of votes were cast against the Remuneration Report.
That's less than five per cent below the threshold for a 'first strike'.
I am happy to be corrected but cannot ever recall this occurring previously with REH.
It tells me there's either some company-specific ** from minority SH, or perhaps it just reflects the general anger among retail shareholders at many companies' perceived excessive remuneration for Directors and key executives.
