And talking of incompetent Directors, why did ASIC not take action against the Directors for not entertaining a take over of how much?

And talking of incompetent Directors, how can you spend billions of dollars on a project where you have no control of selling price and price you pay for your gas input?

May I congratulate the poster who posted that Santos would be paying more for gas suppplied by third parties? Imagine that. A poster on HC is aware that third party gas supplies would be higher and our directors sit on their hands counting their bonuses.

Why do we as share holders continue to pay Directors millions in salaries?
Any fool can write off Billions off a balance sheet. we don't need to pay him a couple of millions. I would have thought for a couple of millions we would get a person who can turn under performing assets around not write them off.
