They should be held accountable for not taking up that offer.

    STO Sure looking bad today.
The optimism of the "worst is behind us " write-downs smashed.

    $4 seems possible soon.

If you go to Open Briefing there is one by Santos.
You can listen to our scottish CEO answer or not-answer questions from analysts.
And the last appearance of the CFO Mr Seaton.
You wonder what fearless advice he gave the CEO and board over his 11 year tenure.

You also have to wish that what they are not saying is that behind the scenes they are working on some strategic play.

A lot of wishing there - but that is what Santos holders have to do or sell out and forget about this dog of a stock.

Their oil price forecasts are at odds with the futures market so they are just talking their book.
I guess what do we expect an oil company to do - in the world of Santos the oil price in the future never is "lower for longer" but recovers to match their spreadsheets.

Email Santos and ask them how they worked out their escalating oil price forecast for the next few years when the futures market sees oil barely breaching $55.

The resilience of the US shalers may see the trading range $40-$50 for some years.

    Cheers
