Some of the things I will be interested if they have a strike is are they testing the well before giving up the rig. They lose the rig to another company upon completion and then get it back so it could well be many months before testing is done. If so I will be inclined to sell into any spike, sit back and reenter as news comes to hand.

I do agree though if the results are good from wirelines etc the big hands will soak and soak up stock from the nervous nellies or day traders which may make it go sideways for a while.
