Some stuff about this deposit. Was not surveyed before. Just look at old QDPI 1984 air photo's and the only two siesmic lines JUST miss the resource. Why? look at google earth, and check the terrain. Hard to get into, and was a wall of scrub back in the 70's (ref: 1984 air photo). Resource seems to sit under a hard residual uplift plate. Needed to be blasted to put through 2 km cutting on Rolleston rail line in 2004 in that exact area. 9 kms east is BMA's Blackwater pit mining Rangal, as is the about to start Xstrata's Togara north project, you guessed 9kms to the west again on Rangal. And the analysis so far is sort of confusing as to what this nrl deposit is? Who knows yet? More work to be done, and, as far as i can find out, most drill exploraton is only just getting going again in CQ due to wet conditions. Let's just await the facts, they will outweigh the rumours.
