main thing is earnings. The reality is at 17c the impact on NTA of the hifert writedown is not a big issue IF there is evidence of the MJ turnaround in earnings. Good numbers today will have a big impact. Insto's are looking for confirmation of the talk, their concerns on future earnings were very clear from the way the spp unfolded.
Conversely the time for positive talk is over, if there is nothing to hang your hat on in todays numbers then there will be a stampede for the door. No one wants to hear excuses today.
Keenly awaiting the results, should be released around 9:30-10.
