The mesothelioma/melanoma preclinical result is due out very soon I believe . On that last little pilot study on mesothelioma , of 4 mice were tested , response was seen in all 4 (100%) and complete response (total eradication of the tumour)was seen in 2 mice (50%) . One of the CR mice was then given more till it died . The other CR mouse was reintroduced with the mesothelioma tumour and its immune system fought off the tumour . It was immune to the cancer. There was another mouse but it was a control that did not get the combination treatment .
That trial and the current trial are all independently done by what is probably the nations leading mesothelioma team , TIG of UWA . This current trial is to confirm the above findings and to expand them into melanoma as I understand it .
May be worth a look before these results are announced . All the info is on their site . All IMHO
