The recent updraft seems to be due to: very positive analyst reviews (UBS, Bell Potter, etc) over the past two weeks, and good results in last week's announcement. UBS noted the double digit growth, while Bell noted that Challenger has been innovative (3 new products at end of FY15) and will likely benefit from emerging deferred annuities products. The generally positive market sentiment also helps.
