"We rate CGF as one of our two top picks in the space (the other being BT Investment Management BTT).
"The company continues to innovate, with three new products launched in the last few months including the new Care Annuity CarePlus, CFS platform annuity and VicSuper white label product. It has a favourable tailwind.
"The strong growth in the pension phase of superannuation, along with the regulatory impetus to manage longevity risk places the company in a strong position.
"The company is cheap, at 10.6x FY16 PE, around 5 pr cent yield and with double digit EPS growth per annum forecast over the medium-term and more positive catalysts remain.
"We see the possible launch of DLAs [deferred lifetime annuities] over the coming months as a key remaining catalyst."
