I'm not happy at all either. Also, not a lot of information on the non payment and rationale. Seems the contractor must have been due in full.
But, with dwindling cash, the only other option to meet the obligation would have been to tap into the other major outgoing at the moment which is management and staff salaries etc, and of course that is never going to happen...It is a much easier option to simply give up future earnings (albeit small) than god forbid rationalize the flow of employee expenses...
Not happy but it is what it is, i hope they're not intending to use this tactic for other contractors and major expenses going forward...
