I think the current share price of VIT is an indication of the lower appetite for these types of companies with BAL and BKL well off their highs.
If you fundamentally thought that VIT was ok before then it's probably still ok; however, it isnt as hot a sector as it was six moths ago. I recall enjoying my Xmas break with FNP, VIT, A2M, BAL and BKL all surging nicely. I got rid of all my VITs when the price trend really broke down, although I recently put my toe in the water again as I dont mind VIT. all IMO.
