Three years ago i read that Genworth, the mortgage lender insurer, were making
greater provisions for delinquent loans - all at a time of record low interest rates!
I moved out of CBA at $82 and put the funds into SYD which were $4-85 at the
time and now $7.15. I do keep some funds in bank hybrids as a parking lot,
although with Labor's franking credit legislation, those funds will be moved before
the end of the year. The banks are somewhat down the food chain for the
foreseeable future I must admit.
