White Canyon Uranium Commences Diamond Drilling Program in Utah, USA

White Canyon Uranium announces that a diamond drilling rig has been engaged to undertake the Company’s first diamond drilling program on the 100% owned Daneros Uranium Deposit at White Canyon, near Blanding Utah. The program is the first step in the Company’s aim to generate a 10 million
pound high grade U3O8 resource base on the Utah properties over the next two years.

The initial 12 hole phase of the program will test and extend the high grade core of the Daneros deposit,
which was the subject of previously announced historical reserves (see December 2007 White Canyon Uranium Prospectus), and acquire data for metallurgical and mine planning studies required for the lodgment of the Daneros mine permit application.

Site preparation has commenced, with drilling to start by 17 March. Results are expected in early April.
