does anyone know when results will be announced and maybe an indication as to what the company intends on doing with its GWR holding now that it appears that they have been snookered.
to me it looks as though they again wanted to get control without bidding for the company and paying any control premium (as Cleveland are doing with PMM)
if the assets are good and it is worthy of making a substantial investment in, then sometimes it's worth just paying up and controlling the cashflow and production pipeline.
it will be interesting whether PMM board will pay a special dividend and utilise its franking credits and return some cash to shareholders (which Cleveland won't object to as it would no doubt like to get its hands on the cash - but doesn't want to pay the price to mop up minorities!!).
does anyone have any thoughts??
